AJ LaMonda Paranormal Passion

A.J. LaMonda is the pen name for writing duo Heather Huffman and Justin LaMonda, a couple of hopeless romantics who still can't believe they found each other. When not busy living out their own happily ever after - complete with a big, beautiful, blended family; a myriad of pets; and an obnoxious amount of houseplants - the couple is usually plotting their next spicy romance or adventure novel. They also spend an inordinate amount of time tinkering with yoga, naming koi that don't belong to them, and chasing falling stars.

Justin brings a physician's knowledge of body mechanics and two degrees in philosophy and Russian. He also took a solemn oath to always respect Heather's hips. Heather fully appreciates the aforementioned physician's knowledge of body mechanics and solemn oath to respect said hips.

When a romance author gives up on love, sometimes the universe—and the post office—needs to intervene.

Once upon a time, Heather Huffman was a romance author. But somewhere along the way, she stopped believing in magic and the words got harder to find until she took a break from books and gave up on ever meeting her person. In this autofiction short story, Heather gives readers a peek into her world and shares how declaring "if God wants me to find a man, he'll have to drop him in my lap" led to "the one" landing on her doorstep, thanks to the U.S. Post Office.

Readers can see Justin's version of our first meeting in his upcoming novel, Love & Mail, coming Summer 2025!
